Looks like most of the UK media have published some reviews of the Smart #1.

I'll round them up below, generally pretty good, high quality, good interior. Potentionally need some updates to the infotainment system.

Auto Express:
The Smart #1 has to be the best example in recent history of a thoroughly decent, well-engineered, refined, and comfortable car being undone by its software experience. There’s lots of high-quality hardware here, and while the on-the-road behaviour isn’t all that inspiring, the #1 does nail the brief of being accomplished around town, and clever with its packaging, offering surprising practicality. Assuming the monthly lease rates stack up once final UK pricing is announced, it will still merit consideration - but potential buyers should see if they can get along with the dancing fox before committing.

Auto Car:
The interior is impressively well finished, too, with some stylish design and upmarket touches, including metal air vents incorporating colour adjustable LED elements.

The user interface is less good, though. While Polestar and Volvo cars use Android Automotive, the new Smart operating system is based on Geely’s Ecarx tech. The not quite finalised version we experienced was easily the worst thing about the car: clumsy, unintuitive and with a number of embarrassing syntax and spelling errors in its English text.
