Map download file updates

Noticed in the satnav that various region files in the UK had downloads available to download, which I did then it states not applied in red, it says that the updates will be applied when it restarts.

Restarts what? I powered off the infotainment, no change, locked and unlocked the car, no difference map files still not applied.

Anyone else played with these yet?

How did you even find the updates? I would have thought there would be a notification on the main system. I'll check it out tomorrow and see if I've got the same. I'll fire up the nav system and see what it says.

I sat in the car this afternoon looking through the menus and apps etc, after driving home I was confused as to why I couldn't set the limiter rather than pilot assist (use the left and right arrows to change the function of the centre button on the lefthand side of steering wheel) ie trying to work out how stuff works before trying to figure it out whilst on the move!
