I have recently updated my Smart #1 to the latest firmware and am having a few problems with the speed limiter.

Firstly I had a speed limiter on my Mercedes-Benz GLA and as soon as you set the speed limit the car would slow down to that speed and would not be able to go faster than the set speed unless you floored the throttle.

On the Smart #1 you set the speed limit, slighty move your foot as you look at something outside the car, look back at the headup display and you're over the speed limit. What's the point having a speed limiter that doesn't limit your speed?

My other issue with it is that when you change the speed limit, for instance going from a 40mph zone into a 30mph zone, and use the up/down buttons on the steering wheel, the head up display is altered to show the change in the set speed limit - and that covers up your actual speed. So while changing the speed limit you have to glance down for your actuall speed - which defeats the whole object of having a head-up display.
