As winter charging speed is affected by battery temperature, does anyone know how we can interrogate our car system to tell us what our actual battery temperature is at any given time. This would be extremely useful in establishing the effectiveness of our battery heater, if it works, does the battery heater get turned on when you set a charging station location in the satellite navigation?

I'm not aware of any function that gives us battery temperature. I've used battery heating within the energy app and feel that the car is a a little more efficient. I suspect that it is probably best used before a long journey. My understanding is that the battery heater does operate if a charger is selected as a destination on the sat nav. However, the selection of chargers available seems to be restricted to those on the smartcharge@street initiative certainly does not reflect all available chargers.
